Corporate Background
Canopy Growth is a global cannabinoid company with operations across four continents and 14 countries. In the US, we operate as a federally legal hemp company, offering distinct brands and CBD products in oil, softgel, and topical formats. From product and process innovation to market execution, Canopy is driven by a passion for industry leadership and a commitment to growing exceptional hemp that yields superior hemp-derived products.
We employ more than 3,500 people globally, including 150 in the US. Among the companies marketing hemp-derived CBD products, Canopy was the first to be traded on the New York and Toronto stock exchanges, and the first to partner with a Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods company.
We are a leader in CBD because consumers trust the quality and safety of our products. We use proprietary technology to extract a pure isolate from hemp, ensuring that customers can depend on a consistent experience. Canopy is proudly dedicated to educating healthcare practitioners, conducting robust clinical research, and furthering the public’s understanding of cannabinoids.
